I’m Artemios and I work on Product and Marketing related projects. I love every aspect of Business, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and everything that happened around them. I admire learning about innovation and how can we change people’s habits.
I really love Coffee (I always have a full coffee mug next to me :D) and beers! When I have time, I usually trying different roasts of coffee or brewing beers.
My experience in bullets
- Happy member of doctoranytime in which I’m working since 2015. Working as a product manager with the team, we’re implementing products that have an impact on our daily lives.
- Freelance in product and marketing projects with my personal studio markdx.com. I really like to help companies with their marketing strategies so that increase their results and sales.
- Event coordinator and organizer about entrepreneurship and career development. Volunteering projects helping other young people to their next steps. Such as finding their career path or grow an idea.
Events that I was part of
One of those is Job Fair Athens, in which I was part for 4 years (2012-2016). It is a two-day career event, with a non-profit, voluntary, panhellenic character. That is targeted at students and young graduates from polytechnic, technological and economic departments. It aims at bridging the gap between students and job market.
Main organizer of Job Fair Athens is a students’ organization called EESTEC (local commission of the National and Technical University of Athens), and Job Fair Athens is the biggest event for the past 10 years, at a local level.
Moreover, I was part of two entrepreneurships events (Athens Startup Weekend University and CruiseInn) during my participation in ThinkBiz.
ThinkBiz is the first Student Entrepreneurship Club in Greece, based in Athens University of Economics and Business, founded in an attempt to help the Greek Startup Ecosystem evolve.
Athens Startup Weekend University is a 54-hour event exclusively for University students, where participants pitch ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype in only two days.
CruiseInn is a 7-day startup creation hackathon that takes place on a cruise ship during a cruise around the Aegean Sea. It is a valuable experience for young entrepreneuers, who want to develop their ideas and validate them with feedback from local entrepreneuers & potential customers.
Improve myself
I’m really passionate about my work and always try to learn more and improve my skills and technics. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client or business unit leader so as to understand his or her business objectives. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.
I have studied at the Department of Electronics Engineering at Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and I speak Greek, English & German. I live in Athens, Greece, but I usually travel around the world. So GR-based is not a problem. I’m willing to work remotely to service clients worldwide.
